Manually add links to hosts?

Is there a way to manually add links to hosts entries in the db?

With the link to host functionality broken in the interface I'm wondering if there is a way to add them manually without having to create new triggers for every host..

I would like to have a trigger setup in a template then link it to all hosts and have it update the hostname in the linked copy.

Not sure if I 100% understand what you're looking for, but you might want to take a look at the following post:

Applying the patches will give you some extra buttons to syncronise your Templates/Hosts.

I would basically like to apply a template to every host or update a template for every host that was based on the template.

With the current bug in the interface it's not possible because it's broken. I'm curious to see if there is a work around.

What I would really like to be able to do is update all triggers as we are in the "zabbix is to be deployed" very soon and I dno't want to be alerted every 2 minutes for things that shouldn't be. I'm expecting issues where I will want to tweak the alerts for every host and I dont want to do it manually.

Such as using mysql.
