Can't link a host to a template in latest trunk

In frontend trunk (rev 8986), I can't link a host with a template. When I click on a host and then go over to "Linked templates" and click add, every Template checkbox is immediately checked (different behavior from Zabbix 1.8).

If I go through and uncheck every box, then only check the template I originally wanted (e.x. Template_Java), I get an error at the top of the page:

* Template with item key [agent.version] already linked to the host

Template_Java doesn't have an [agent.version] item though.

Also then every box is checked again, and I'm basically stuck.

What if you try doing it through 'Template Linkage', on the Conf --> Hosts page, dropdown box at the top right?

Whhen I go to Configuration -> Hosts I don't see anything that resembles 'Template Linkage'... all I see is the 'Create' dropdown and the Group dropdown

Just to the left of 'Create Host' where it says "Hosts". That one.

It should drop down to reveal: Templates, Proxies, Host Groups, Template linkage, Applications.

There is no Template Linkage in 1.8

While it's not fixed you can try to go to configuration of template you want to link, and there in secenod twin box add hosts you want it be linked to.

If that is the case, then the online documentation is wrong.

Looks like it's been fixed in trunk

Just did an 'svn up' and it looks like this bug was fixed... sweet!
