    Win32 Agent, pdh data fails

    Hello!

The agent sents faulty data on system[uptime] item.
The value stored in zabbix db is: "ZBX_ERROR s"

The agent logs the following message:

"Call to PdhOpenQuery() failed: The operation completed successfully."

Running 1.1beta1 both server and agent.
    The item is "agent active".

This happens after an unspecified period of time, on all 93 windows hosts i currently monitor. If i restart the agent it sents valid data again but after some time it sents faulty data once more.

Am i the only one with this problem?

    regards,
    Simon

This is caused by a memory leak in the win32 agent.

Use the "Zabbix Agent" instead of "Zabbix Agent (active)" for the moment.

      Too bad.
I would give my soul for a reliable W32 agent.

It's reliable, as long as it's not in active mode (i.e. it's being polled by the server).

does anyone know if this got fixed in the beta2 agent?

My guess is no because it isn't listed in the release notes as being fixed. To me, this is the most severe bug!!
