    MySQL 5

Should there be any problems using MySQL 5?

    Greetings,

From my first look, no, but I will be testing this out tonight to find out. I suspect there will be zero issues as long as your PHP and zabbix_server are both recompiled against MySQL 5.0.

No problems so far on our servers.

But your right, as with any MySQL upgrade, remember to recompile and everything is generally smooth

Okay, I managed to perform a small test this evening with zero issues. One thing to note, the client and client_r files were upgraded to 15, vice 14. Because of this, you will need to reset your symlinks as well. Really happy with 5.0 so far, seems faster, and I like the views.
