simplecheck IMAP not working

Does anyone know why simplechecks imap and imap_perf both return 0 constantly? I have verified that the Zabbix server can reach the IMAP service by telnetting to port 143 on the server that I am monitoring.

I'm running 1.1alpha10.

Also, on a different server I'm doing an ftp and ftp_perf check and it's working fine.

Workaround:

The workaround I am currently using is to do a simplecheck of tcp,143. This at least tells me that an IMAP daemon is listening on port 143, but I haven't found a way to test the performance of this port, which would be nice.

It would also be nice to have a simplecheck that tested the performance of any TCP port.
