graph do not appear on my beta5 install

Hi,

I reinstalled from scratch zabbix with the beta5 yesterday. The template and bulkloading process were really helpfull.

I have one issue with the graph part.

When i add a graph to my template it shows 'graph added' but no graph appear in the list so i cannot build it. If i create a screen i can choose the created graph on the list of available graphs (of course the graph is just empty). I have the same behavior with a non template host.




The graph DB shows the graph, graph items is empty of course.

Check your apache error log. Perhaps you don't have the necessary php-gd package installed.

in fact this is not that i do not see the graph itself sorry if i was not clear.

this is the list of the graph i cannot see.

If you go to /graphs.php and select your host, add a graph then it just say "graph added" and the list does not shows it. I have cleared the cache and logged with another browser but i still do not have the list (i do not use proxy) so this is not the cache. Rebooting the zabbix host and the windows client does not changed anything. Apart from that and a problem in the triggers everything works fine.

On the screen setup i can setup and see the graph added but as i cannot link any item to them they are just empty graphs.

Its a permissions thing. Log in with the original Admin account or give yourself higher permissions to see the graphs - they have been added.

Hi,

I saw the same problem (fresh install of Beta5). The graphs had been created and they were usable within the Screens Configuration) however they were not visible on the Configuration|Graphs page.

I think this was just an error I was making though. Once I added a graph to a host and then selected the host to view graphs I found my missing graphs. I even found a graph associated to the "Select Host..." option

not really a problem of right as i am logged with the admin loggin.

still no graphs. Of course i choose the host where i added it but this does not change anything the list does not appear.

I'm seeing the same problem here as well. My install is beta5 upgraded from beta4. I can create new graphs, and I get the message that the graph was was created, but no graphs appear in the list for the host.

I can see the graph names listed when I go to the Screens page. I too am running as Admin.

Hi, just installed Zabbix 1.1b5.

When trying to add a graph to a Host, it always adds the graph to the "Select host...".

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

A graph does not link itself to a host when you create the graph. When you add an item to the 'independent' graph it becomes linked to the item's host.

Thanks. I think I've got it now. I was trying to select the host before creating the new graph. Seems to be working fine for me.

ok i find them, i have to click on the 'select host' in the drop down to make them appear. I was used to see the graph directly on b4 but i was not adding it on the template host...
