    Installing The Agentd For Solaris

I have installed gentoo and I need to monitoring a host with solaris 8, but I have some complications, the instructions of the manual, but the commands are not the same one for gentoo, if somebody can help. The agent appears installed but she does not work, says:

Monitored Not available Cannot connect to [orinoco10] [Connection refused]

Your situation description is a bit confusing for me.

You have a gentoo box. Is this a sparc or x86 ? Zabbix server or client ?

Which versions ? Did you compile the solaris binaries for Zabbix yourself ?

What does your agentd config file look like ?
