Parameter [diskused[/home]] is not supported by agent on host

i have a number of server.log entries which fit this format. i have a fresh server and agent installation. i installed the mysql data using zabbix_installdb. this is version beta5. the only configuration i've done is to add 127.0.0.1 to hosts and then add the items from the Host.Unix template.

is this a misconfigured agent? or is the create/data/data.sql values for the Host.Unix template incorrect? or some other mistake?

Have you looked in the logs for the server and agent to see if there are any other errors? The syntax has been changed since over the past couple versions, but as far as I understand the agents are backwards compatible.

As per ZABBIX 1.1beta5, the syntax is not backward compatible. Please use the newest naming for items documented in ZABBIX Manual v1.1.

Doh, sorry. So 1.1beta5 agents are backwards compatible with older servers in that they can answer requests, but they still require the new syntax? Thanks for clearing that up.
