Here's another feature suggestion for Zabbix; LDAP authentication!
In corporate use, it's handy to have a single login for every individual. That's what LDAP is for. But apps like Zabbix (and a few others) have their own user/password database. Would be a lot more handy if Zabbix would use the authentication mechanisms Apache (2) has; .htpasswd or LDAP/AD authentication (the latter we use on a number of webGUI's right now, Nagios being amongst them, which I wish to replace with Zabbix within the next few months).
I think we really need this type of authentication if Zabbix is to be a seriously competative open source solution for monitoring corporate networks and servers.
