'status' item?
I'm used 'status' item for monitoring of hosts availability.
{gate.ru:status.last(0)}#0 - is an example of trigger for making notifications to me, when the host is going down.
Since 1.1 beta5 i founded, what description of 'status' item in docs no longer exists!
Zabbix understands 'status' keyword, but value of this item changing at random, notwithstanding the fact that host and agent on it are online at all times! 
So:
1) Is the 'status' a deprecated item?
2) How can i change that scheme?
