Host Profile mapping to items

Hi,

I can't see listed anywhere how you are supposed to map host profile entries to items such as system.hw.macaddr

Could someone please give me a brief run through of it. This is with 1.9.5

Open the host properties, go to the "Host profile" tab, see Automatic mode button.
Then, for every item see a value "Item will populate host profile field" in the item properties form.
