key in lowlevel discovery json format

Hi,
I'm implementing some tests lowlevel discovery items, and I was wondering on the rationale behind having the discovery key in the json reply ...

for custom LLD, that means i have to put the discovery item key in :
* the script
* the userparameter on the agent
* zabbix server

This is a departure of the classic use, where the key is unknown to the script, and I don't really get the reason behind this requirement ...

hmm, not sure. might be worth filing a zbxnext to clarify that in the documentation as a minimum
