1.9.8 Template export misses elements

It seems that the template export option in 1.9.8 only includes triggers, but not items.
I didn´t test deeply so maybe there are other issues.

export of TEMPLATES doesn't contain ITEM definitions

I have the same issue.
Do you know how to check if there is defect reported on support.zabbix.com
And/or how to report defect?

It's such an old issue that I didn't even check if it was fixed in 1.9.8
Apparently not.
It's a beta-version and 1.8.x versions are still being released.

if you really need it you should install 1.8.9.

Bump for a fix.

I have tested the patch in the linked support case on 1.9.7 and on 1.9.8 and am able to confirm this fixes the issue still. Made my life a LOT easier than needing to rebuild templates by hand.

Can we get this looked at again and fixed for 1.9.9?
