1.1b7 log filled up: expression cannot be evaluated

I've been running 1.1b7 for a few weeks now. Over this last weekend, the zabbix_server process died and I could not restart it. This morning while troubleshooting I found that the zabbix_server.log was over 256MB in size!

When I renamed the log, I was able to restart zabbix. Immediately, the log started filling up. Here is the first part of the log:

    003969:20060320:102125 Starting zabbix_server. ZABBIX 1.1beta7.

003978:20060320:102125 Evaluation of expression [{12487}>0] failed [Unable to get value for functionid [12487]]
003978:20060320:102125 Expression [{12487}>0] cannot be evaluated [Unable to get value for functionid [12487]]
003978:20060320:102126 Evaluation of expression [{12291}>100] failed [Unable to get value for functionid [12291]]
003978:20060320:102126 Expression [{12291}>100] cannot be evaluated [Unable to get value for functionid [12291]]

I can't seem to identify what is causing this. I'm not on a 64-bit system, so the patch I've seen elsewhere doesn't help. This is a FC4 system.

    Any help?

Maybe the zabbix process dies if the log file is bigger than 256 MB???

I have located this issues too. But i don't know why the process dies. I have wrote a bash script that restart the process even he is going down.

ZABBIX server log more than 256MB?! I do not believe it ZABBIX automatically performs log rotation (1MB by default), so the log file doesn't grow without limit.

i have checked the log files. And you are right, the log file is only 1 MB. Sorry for the mistake.
