I'm a new zabbix user, upgrading from nagios. I've installed 1.9.9 and got it working for a single host, but now I don't know how to proceed
- I could start using 1.9.9 as my production system, except that it's beta and some stuff doesn't work (e.g. templates, which are fixed on HEAD, but then that really means I'd need to start living off of HEAD which is not generally a good idea for a production environment)
- I could start using 1.8.10 and upgrade when 2.0 releases, but this is probably close to double the work, and I'd need to learn 1.8 and then relearn everything when I upgrade
- I could wait for 2.0 - I found a statement that says it'll be released when all blocking issues are resolved, and I found a chart that shows all blocking issues have been resolved, but still no release....
So is there any timescale for the 2.0 release? Is it going to be in days, weeks, or months? I'm not looking for a hard (or even a soft) date, just a general idea.
