Just a small remark on maps:
The date is shown as 01.07.2005 on a map image. This can be confusing. European date is 07.01.2005, American date 01-07-2005 I think. Or can I define the format myself?

This is Latvian format, something not very standard Anyway you made very good point. I'll try to make date format configurable in local_en.inc.php.
