serious performance difference between 1.1beta8 and 1.0

I switched to 1.1beta8 hoping to get improved performance and functionality and have an easy update to the final 1.1.

But with nearly the same settings i get a much HIGHER load on the database server.

I have browsed through de db log file (see link) and found that there were no combined inserts. This should be considered using.

Nearly 4000 inserts in 15min, thats 4 insert per s., you can easily do 4 to 10 inserts at one time.
I also saw the double amount of updates 8000 in 15min, that's 8 per s.

What is wrong with my setup? Or what is wrong with 1.1?

You're not running final 1.1, it is 1.1beta8!

Some beta releases have serious issues with handling of timeouts which caused excessive processor and resource usage. Switch to ZABBIX 1.1 stable, compare with 1.0 and show your results (please at least for 1-2 hours, otherwise high processor load could be result of housekeeper). Thanks.
