    How to monitor Host.Unix and Application.MySQL

    I would monitor a host with one mysql server and one jabber server, but I could only monitor one thing, but not the two in the same time...

    How it's possible to monitor a host with the Application.MySQL and Host.Unix in the same time ?

      The short answer: make your own host templates. Either inherit Host.Unix and add the mySQL, or start from scratch, which is what I'm doing. You can copy from the other templates for ideas.

      It's worth noting that (in beta9 at least) the Host.Unix template has some values that have been deprecated and no longer work. This is the main reason I am starting from scratch, creating my own templates to monitor just what I need. I'll also chain-inherit them together, each server may be a stack of 3-4 templates.
