beta9 w32 agent keeps crashing

Has anyone experience unstability with the w32beta9 client. It seems to die very frequently..

Yes, it has been reported frequently. However we haven't found a reason of the problem yet.

Hi,

yes I still have also the problem.
I have the feeling ,it has to do with the processor load.

We have one machine, where very often the zabbix agent dies.
This happens only during high load. During night and at weekends
is the agent running fine.

Here from the vent log an entry:
Unfortunetly the guy has installed a German OS on the server:
Die Beschreibung der Ereigniskennung ( 11 ) in ( Zabbix Win32 Agent ) wurde nicht gefunden. Der lokale Computer verfügt nicht über die zum Anzeigen der Meldungen von einem Remotecomputer erforderlichen Registrierungsinformationen oder DLL-Meldungsdateien. Möglicherweise müssen Sie das Flag /AUXSOURCE= zum Ermitteln der Beschreibung verwenden. Weitere Informationen stehen in Hilfe und Support. Ereignisinformationen: proc_cnt[httpd].


The Event number in the logs are 11 and 9.


Can I switch on somehow on that machine debugging for the agent or
provide some other informations?

It only happens to me on the machines I run perf_counter items on.

Thats true i have found that it only dies on servers that i am using the perf_counter item on and actually they are all windows 2000 as well. I am using perf_counter on windows 2003 boxes and they dont seem to die. What is the best version of the agent to rollback to?
