    Beta10 issues part 1

    Alexei,

A couple of issues i found so far:

    1) agent.ping returns 4272920 (what does this number mean)

    2) creating a new graph and adding 2 items results in having 2 graphs.

    3) has the item "status" been removed? Doesn't seem to work anymore.

    4) In the template the "Total Disk Space" items still have 0 as custom multiplier so you'll allways get 0's back when using these items

    1. Not confirmed. Can you reproduce this?

    2. Not confirmed.

    3. It should work.

    4. To be fixed.

Why do you think you have two graphs?

Simply because there are 2 graphs in the drop down box for that host. (I only created 1 graph for that host).

I can post a screenshot later today if you want.

Confirmation of problems and reproduction information

I can confirm that the 4272920.000000 issue is happening with all of my win32 1.1-beta10 agents on agent.ping
The agents are running on Windows 2003 Standard, Windows 2003 Enterprise and Windows 2000 Server

I'm not sure what is happening with the graph creation problem for erisan500 but I have very similar when creating graphs in templates.
If you create a graph within a template then each item added to the graph generates a separate graph for the host which inherits the template rather than a single graph with many items.

The item status is sort of working for me, the data is often not updated by the server even though the host is all OK. This isnt something new, it happened in 1.1-beta9

I can also confirm this ping.agent issue with windows agent (4 windows 2003 servers at the moment).

hostname Ping to the server (TCP) 20 May 19:20:31 4272920

                  2) creating a new graph and adding 2 items results in having 2 graphs.

                  ....
I try to upgrate from beta 9 and install clean beta 10.
when i install clean beta 10 i get the same results, i add 2 items to graph and get 2 graph for each item in monitor.

when i try to upgrate from beta 9, i upgrate database also by the beta9tobeta10 patch.sql, i get errors when try to add host to list:

SQL error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near ')' at line 1
Query: insert into graphs (name, width, height, yaxistype, yaxismin, yaxismax, tem plateid,show_work_period,show_triggers) values ('Running Processes',900,200,0,0.0000, 100.0000,1,,)

In this case early created graphs with more than one items work correct.

The graph creation work perfect when adding a graph to a host, but adding a graph to a template results in having multiple graphs depending on the nr. of items added to the graph.
