    Can't find a way to create a graph for a template (1.1beta11)

    Hi everyone,

    Sorry if this is an old and solved issue. I've looked around in the forum and although people talk about some problems with it around beta2-beta7, I can't figure out how it's done.

    I want/need to create some simple graphs for a template, to avoid configuring a graph per host. For example, I want to look at the load graph for one host of the Host.Unix template but I'd like to avoid configuring the load graph for every host.

    However, when using "configuration -> graphs -> create graph", the first screen asks for the name, graph size, etc. but no hosts or templates. After creating the graph, I'm left with the option of adding items, but on the items list, only host items show up; not template items.

    So, how is it done then? What am I doing wrong and/or what's going on?

    Cheers,
    Pedro Venda.

    The better path would be to go to configuration -> hosts -> templates

    Then on the right you'll see: Items : Triggers : Graphs

    Click on graph and create as many graphs as you want.

      Ok, I've found it.
      But it's really unintuitive.

      My suggestion to make it better would be:
      * Configuration
      * Graphs
      * Create graph
      * ...
      * Add item
      List of items would contain template items and host items. Once an item is added (the first), the graph is defined as a host or template graph. If the added item is a template item, then the graph is a template graph and vice versa.Then only template OR host items would be showed and allowed, depending on the graph being a template or a host graph.

      Sorry for the noise.

      Cheers,
      Pedro Venda.
