Hi everyone,
I have been creating some heavy screens with lots of graphs, etc. It's a lot of work but the result is well worth it.
The process is known to most of us: "Configuration - Screen - (Screen Name), Edit - Change - Resource: Graph". I'm using graph templates to generate graphs for all my Host.Unix hosts and they show up correctly on the drop-down menu "Graph Name". (example: Load, Incoming network traffic on eth0, Disk usage, etc)
Problem/Issue: The drop down menu orders items by graph type only; All load graphs show up together, all disk usage graphs show up together, etc. BUT within the graph type, there seems to be no other order (like hosts). Example of a drop-down menu of "Graph Name" property for Screen element creation:
srv_1:Root Disk Space
srv_2:Root Disk Space
srv_3:Root Disk Space
srv_2:Load
srv_1:Load
srv_3:Load
srv_3:Incoming traffic on eth0
srv_1:Incoming traffic on eth0
srv_2:Incoming traffic on eth0
This leads to a Load screen or a Root Disk Space screen with a different host order and/or increased work in creating them.
It would be nice if a coherent order could be generated for these elements, like 1-Graph Name, 2-Host (or perhaps the other way around):
srv_1:Root Disk Space
srv_2:Root Disk Space
srv_3:Root Disk Space
srv_1:Load
srv_2:Load
srv_3:Load
srv_1:Incoming traffic on eth0
srv_2:Incoming traffic on eth0
srv_3:Incoming traffic on eth0
Please ask if I wasn't clear on this.
Cheers,
Pedro Venda.
