Missing dependences Installing zabbix Zabbix 5.0.0beta1 on ubuntu 20.04

    Hi guys,

I'm trying to install 5.0.0beta1 on Ubuntu 20.04 (fresh LTS) using:

    https://www.zabbix.com/download?zabb...ionic&db=mysql

    When execute

    apt install zabbix-server-mysql zabbix-frontend-php zabbix-apache-conf zabbix-agent

    I get this error:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
    zabbix-server-mysql : Depends: libevent-2.1-6 (>= 2.1.8-stable) but it is not installable
Depends: libmysqlclient20 (>= 5.7.11) but it is not installable
Depends: libsnmp30 (>= 5.7.3+dfsg-1.8ubuntu3~dfsg) but it is not installable
    Recommends: virtual-mysql-server
Recommends: snmpd but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

    ----------

I always solved libevent-2.1-6 and libmysqlclient2o using this workaround from atindula (In fact, until 19.10 only these dependences failed):

    https://www.zabbix.com/forum/zabbix-...702#post363702

But since 20.04 problem on libsnmp30 appears too and can't be fixed with this workaround.

after apt update and try to install again, this message remains:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
zabbix-server-mysql : Depends: libsnmp30 (>= 5.7.3+dfsg-1.8ubuntu3~dfsg) but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

    -------------

When I try to install libsnmp30 I get that ibsensors4 is missing. When I try to install libsensors4 I get a weird message of several pages that ends with:

The following NEW packages will be installed:
    libsensors4 policykit-1-gnome
0 upgraded, 2 newly installed, 92 to remove and 3 not upgraded.
Need to get 53,8 kB of archives.
After this operation, 439 MB disk space will be freed.

So I stopped here because sure I break something.

Please help me how to install the missing dependence and complete install.

    Regards.

It's difficult to resolve package dependencies for different versions, so it's better to install from source or wait for Ubuntu 20.04-compatible packages to be released.

Solved using new packages for Focal:

      https://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/4.5/ubuntu/pool/main/z/zabbix-release/zabbix-release_4.5-1+focal_all.deb
