Zabbix Agent Installer for Windows (W32 & w64)

If somebody want to use for testing the client agent 1.3beta i made the package

The syntax for the silent install mode is :
    zabbix_agent-1.3beta_installer.exe /server=ZabbixServerIPAddress [/rmtcmd=1] /S
    For gui mode:
    zabbix_agent-1.3beta_installer.exe [/server=ZabbixServerIPAddress] [/rmtcmd=1]

                  Scotty,

The 1.3.6 zip files (installer and NSIS souce) are corrupt.

                        Thanks for the package.

I found out that there is a default NSIS-installer parameter you can use
to specify the installation directory for the agent on the command-line
                        /D=install-path-for-zabbix-agent

                        Seems to work fine.

                        Regards,

                        Norbert.

                          /D=install-path-for-zabbix-agent
must be the last parameter used in the command line and must not contain any quotes, even if the path contains spaces.

The uninstall doesn'nt work any more when you using the /D
parameter but the upgrade work fine after installation.

                          I corrected it

Very nice that you build these installers

But i have a request for you. In the windows Active directory it is possible to install software by Group Policy. this way it is very easy to distribute software around the network. The only condition for this is that it has to be a msi installer file.

So my question to you: can you make msi files in the future?

MSI is the Microsoft installer format. Which is normally executable as your nullsoft installer, only some things are standardized for the deployment through the network. There is currently a Open Source project running which enables you to create msi files

FireGiant's Open Source project to provide most powerful set of tools available to create your Windows installers.

Hope you consider doing this. It will make deployment much easier.
