ZABBIX 1.1alpha6 bad free memory graph???

Recently installed ZABBIX 1.1alpha6 on a FC2 box for some testing. Added the HPUX 11.0 client to a box with 10GB memory and about 14GB swap. Graphs are looking a little off! The data is in negative numbers. Any suggestions? Trying to correctly monitor a production database server.

Please see the chart attatched to "see" what I get...

It doesn't look very nice. I'm already aware of this problem. A fix will probably be included into 1.1alpha7.

Thank you very much for the info. I look forward to the next release!!!

I already like what you have done already. I've tried (and implemented) other NMS's only to find them not fit what I was looking for. Zabbix is working out better than I could have hopped during my initial test so far! Thank you for your work, support, time and effort.

I did some testing. ZABBIX can easily graph large values (10GB, 100GB, etc). In your case, I believe, ZABBIX agent doesn't work correctly, so it returns negative values instead of correct 10GB. To be fixed anyway...

I think I fixed it in 1.1alpha7. Unfortunately I do not have HP-UX system with more than 4GB of RAM, so I cannot test it.

I can test it... do you have the alpha7 tar out yet (cvs?)? Or is the problem with the client HPUX binary? Since I'm having the problem, the least I can do is see if I can help fix it.

Thank you for your continuing help!

I see the release notice, but the download section does not seem to know about the update yet. I will check back later.

Never mind, I replaced the "6" with "7" after pasting the URL and I got it now.

No luck so far with alpha7. The vertical lines are gone, but I still got negative numbers. There is nothing interesting in my zabbix_server.log. I even tried to restart the HPUX zabbix client. Is there any info I can provide to help out?

Have you upgraded your HP-UX agent? If yes, and it still doesn't work, please, send me include/config.h from the HP-UX box after you made ./configure.

                      Thanks!

Wow, look at that, Free Memory with non negative numbers!!!!!! You-da-man!!! I just to make sure it's correctish now.

*But* now I notice that my Total Memory is "-2 GB" still an hour after running the new agentd... Atleast I don't care about that number as much right now.
