1.3.2 server logs stopped working entirely

So I am getting nothing in the /var/log/zabbix/zabbix_server.log at all. This stopped working when I changed the log level to debug to figure out why zabbix_sender is not working. I changed it back to level warn, but now I am not getting anything, nada, zip. Any ideas? permissions, disk space, etc all good.

Any ideas? the /var/log/zabbix/agentd.log seems to be ok.

    Solved

well, I couldn't bear the pain any longer so I dumped all my templates and hosts to xml, deleted and recreated the database, rebooted the zabbix server, and now logging seems to work again. I have lost all history but things seem to be working now. I am almost ready to deploy this into production, I hope 1.4 is released soon

Please do not run 1.3.2 in production. There is no upgrade path between 1.3.x.

of course I wouldn't dream of deploying 1.3.2 in production, I am anxiously awaiting the release of 1.4. I have gone too far with the 1.3.2 setup to contemplate a 1.1.6 deployment, if you may recall I am a longtime Nagios (pre 2000) user and I am still evaluating Zabbix as a replacement for that as I believe Zabbix has great potential, but 1.3.2 has enough issues to prevent a production deployment. This being said, I would love cvs or subversion access to the latest codebase so I might be able get past some of the show stoppers I have seen thus far I am still just figuring zabbix out, but I usually am a pretty quick study and I can promise you a throughly tested beta, bug reporting and maybe even a patch or two. I have some templates to post to the cookbook as well, but issues with 1.3.2 are preventing me from releasing these. I am intending on writing a zabbix tutorial/howto soon that will include how to *use* zabbix, something that is lacking in the current documentation
