    Cannot run zabbix_service - I tried already everything.

    Hi. I am trying to install 1.3.2 on amd64 debian Etch. The frontend with database is running but I cannot start the zabbix_server.

    I have ./configure with all parameters according your manual.

    zabbix@monit1:~/zabbix-1.3.2$ ./configure --prefix=/usr --with-mysql --with-net-snmp --enable-server --enable-agent

      please do strace -fF zabbix_server and show the last 40 lines, in case no zabbix_server.log is created.

              Thank you for help. It is already working. I find out that if I leave uncomented the following line in zabbix_server.conf:
              DBSocket=/tmp/mysql.sock

              It does not start. So that was the issue. Thank you all for help.
