Adding hosts with template in 1.1alpha7

When i'm adding host with template. Items from template not adding this bug or feature ?

From the "Hosts" section as "Admin", select"Change" on the host line in question, then select the correct "Use templates of this host" and then select "add items from template".

Honestly, when this issue happened to me, I thought it was a bug in Zabbix... still do... but I know how I got around it whatever the issue is.

First of all, starting from ZABBIX 1.1alpha5(?), ZABBIX supports host-template linkage.

1. Create a template host, say LINUX.TEMPLATE
2. Link LINUX.TEMPLATE to Host.Unix and possibly other templates
3. Whan adding new host use LINUX.TEMPLATE in "Use templates of this host", so Host.Unix will automatically be linked to the new host and all items/triggers/etc will be in sync with the template

I'm know about this. But if i'm added new host with template in Zabbix 1.1alpha5 items added. If i'm added new host with template in Zabbix 1.1alpha7 items not added. For added this need click on change (for need host), select need template and click on add "items from template" After this operations items/triggers/etc added. This is bug or feature ?

This happened also to me in 1.1alpha8. I'm using the "welshpjw" solution.
Any clue to get it working in the near future?

Yes...... that's my solution

I add the stuff after i create the host...... because if u add when u create the machine... it wont link the stuff 90% of the times......

a little up, this also happen in alpha 10
linking a host to a template after adding items to the template doesn't add the items to the host, only items added after linkage are added to the host.
this is a bug or a feature, or am i missing something?
