Hi,
I'm monitoring a cisco router. I've built a graph with two variable (ifInOctects and IfOutOctets). It's attached to this post.
This router has a 2 Mbps (megaBITS per second) link attached to it. According to cisco documentation, SNMP readers show the values in BITS per second.
In the graph it shows 200000 in Y axis. And in the botton of the graph, it shows (for instance) 218089.64
My doubt is: which measure unit the graph is using?
If my link is a 2,000,000 Mbps, why it shows 200,000?
I tried to change from calculated to fixed. Then I fixed the maximum to 2,000,000, but didn't worked (the plotted values are still using some weird unit).
I suppose that this "problem" is due to the items that I'm using to plot the graph. I changed it's store value to "Delta (speed per Second)" (since I'm trying to monitor my bandwidth).
It's working, but I'm trying to understand in which unit it's showing the numbers (bps, Kbps, Bps, etc...)
I'm using Zabbix 1.3.4
TIA,
Bob
