Frontend Bug?

Hi, Using Zabbix v1.4 now

While updating/delete/create hosts items/triggers sometimes i get the below message or similar,
Only variable references should be returned by reference[/var/www/html/include/xxxxx.inc.php:xxx]

What is this error ?

Zabbix v1.4
the Flexible interval doesn't work...

set item to delay 60, time:1-5,07:59-18:00
but item checking still continue after 1800..

Or did i mistake the use for flexible interval?
