extended rows ugly!

well my ver 1.4 table are "over extended". i tried on ver 1.1.7 on another server ... also same problem if i create a trigger/action that have eg. a long description. is this a known bug ?? i went to different PCs (with IE, Opera) and view Zabbix also same...so i 100% assume it a display bug in Zabbix.

monitoring still work of course but such ugly display will "spoil" the image of Zabbix

What's your screen resolution? 1024x768?

odd but well..

ya 1024x768 32-bit....was using Opera 9.21 and IE 7 to view. both same problem

i juz dig into the problem and found something odd:

i tried to recreate a long description Action on a new zabbix server
eg.aaaaaaaaaaaa bbbbbbbbbbbbbb 33333333333

zabbix will display : aaaaaaaaaaaa bbbbbbbbbbbbbb
33333333333
meaning a space will cause it to flow over new line.. BUT when added action
eg.aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

zabbix will display: out of table (ugly)

Here comes the interesting part: after del action aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

zabbix will NOT display: aaaaaaaaaaaa bbbbbbbbbbbbbb
33333333333 (no more flow over)
zabbix will display: aaaaaaaaaaaa bbbbbbbbbb 33333333333

conclusion: somehow "damage" caused by long description is irresversable meaning "no more flow over to new line when sentences are spaced"

am i the only one encountering this "ugly" interface problem?

update: when i export the DB to another new zabbix-1.4 server > the long long rows remains so i concluded that it is the mysql DB have been "damaged" and is not zabbix-1.4 BUT might be zabbix-1.4 caused the DB' table settings to go out of place.

I don't think we are going to fix this. If we allow wrapping of long messages the screens will look even more uglier!
