    Zabbix 1.4.2 logs problem

    Hi, All!
    When I rebooting system and running Zabbix processes (server and agentd) then this processes are not starting. This process don't have write permissions in theire log files. Maybee only I have this problem?
    Ubuntu desktop, 2 Gb mem, 160 Gb hard mem.

    Issue a "chmod 744 <filename>" to your log files to change the permissions.

      Also, you might want to use the debian/ubuntu packages instead. They setup everything for you.

        I did it. It works. But in version 1.4 this problem isn't. It behave every time, when I reboot my PC.

        I think that package 1.4.2 for Ubuntu isn't yet. Or I'm not rigth?

          This is a known problem of pre 1.4.2. As a workaround you may try to replace log.c with one from 1.4.1. Proper fix will be created soon.
