graph zooming in trunk (1.5)

i get the calendar and scrollbar, but no zooming when dragging with the mouse over the graph - it simply grabs the image as usually.

this is the same in opera, firefox and konqueror. any ideas ?

So does this only work for screens ? that is the only place i see it, is it planned for the individual graphs as well ? I am using 1.5 rev 5100

it works both for individual graphs and screens (at least when i last had a chance to check, at rev 5063).

note that it seems to show up only if you have some data, on empty graphs it doesn't work at all, even calendar icon hides (which is a bit confusing from usability viewpoint).

odd,as you can see in the image there is scroll bar the odd thing is i hit F5 to refresh and it showed up, there a certain amount of data required be fore it shows up ?

i'm not quite sure what scrollbar you refer to.
as for the amount of data, i am not sure, but i think the functionality showed up for me as soon as there was any data.
maybe you just had not yet refreshed since the data had the chance to come in ?

when i use the "drag to zoom" feature i get the following error * Critical error. Incorrect value for [period] = '694'

yes, one hour is minimal period. zoom out to a week view and try to drag half of that, for example

Rich, Thanks for the answers and I read your previous thread, but what causes the error when using the zoom ? I zoomed to a section in the middle of the graph and still get the error, does it have to be right on the grid ?

no, you can't zoom to less than one hour. just zoom out to a large period and then zoom to some subsection of it by dragging. as suggested, better behaviour would be to snap to smallest possible period if too small period is chosen, but that is not implemented yet.
