Hi
I installed ZABBIX 1.5 (fresh install) today.
I like some small changes in the GUI very much:
I encountered the same problem as has already been mentioned
with the templates (proxyid).
Another problem I found with the XML import.
The export of Templates now includes sub-templates, i.e. if one
template consists of several others there names are now included
in the export. Very Good
Trying to import those, however, a message like "Template-name: access denied" appears for every one
I hit the semaphore problem, too.
I couldn't find the dashboard (under Monitoring ?). Is it only available for a "normal" user ?
In defines.inc.php I changed the BLINK_PERIOD to 0 and I noticed
a new variable called "TRIGGER_FALSE_PERIOD" which is set to
the same 1800 (seconds ?).
What does this mean ?
Thanks for the good work so far and, of course, for listening
to the request of your users.
Regards
Norbert.
Edit: found the dashboard in R5512. I'm impressed. This covers almost all what our operations people requested.
Thanks a lot

- The log output of the operations (deleting templates, changing items, ...) is now in a separate field with a scrollbar. So the top is no longer scrolled off screen !
- Logout was moved to the right place (top right), where other web interfaces put it too.
- Introduction of a history bar
- Editing of translations on a web page instead of a php file
