Database Monitoring in 1.5.1

Hello.
I love some of the changes in 1.5.x. Thanks for all the hard work.

I have a question about Database Monitoring. In the progress report it says 90% complete but I don't see any reference to this in the code or changelog. Are there any details on how this is being implemented?

Perhaps I did not word my question well enough to merit a comment.

On the developers page under progress report it says:

Database monitoring 90% 50%

I took this to mean agent based database monitoring, such as providing connectivity testing and vital stats on a mysql database. This would be a welcome replacement for the current practice of adding entries to the agentd.conf such as:

UserParameter=mysql.ping,mysqladmin ping|grep alive|wc -l

Am I interpreting this correctly, or does it instead refer to the monitoring of the zabbix servers connection to the database?
