1.5.2 (1.6) Windows Agents?

Does anyone know where I can download pre-compiled Windows agents for 1.5.2 build of Zabbix?

I am pretty sure that there won't be any official ones. The code changes daily so the precompiles would be out of date really quickly.

Have you thought about building your own?

(Normally I would be happy to offer you mine, but I have not tested windows yet on 1.5 so I have none).

OK, I had a huge brain fart. Sorry. I really should stop posting stuff on the internet before I get at least my first Dr Pepper in me.*

Everything builds from the same source code now. Meaning that if you run the compile on a Linux box, you get the windows binaries. They are in the bin/win32/ folder of the compiled code.

I just checked and sure enough I have them.

My 1.5 code was last built like 2 weeks ago so if you still want precompiled binaries, I will grab the latest svn code next Monday and build them (sorry, just wont have time till then).

Although I suspect that if you are testing 1.5 then you already have done the compile and probably already have them.

zabbix_agentd.exe --start error

I used the file in the directory bin\win32\zabbix_agentd.exe, and the config file in the misc/conf/zabbix_agentd.conf .
After edit the config file, I used the commands:

zabbix_agentd.exe --install
zabbix_agentd.exe --start
Follows the words:zabbix_agentd.exe [2820]: Service "ZABBIX Agent" started successfully.
But it did not really started!
The events log say: No DLL file

My windows system is windows xp, PDH.DLL is in the directory c:\windows\system32\

Zabbix server can get infomation from xp client ,but the Host status is Unreachable (2).

why?

I don't know about the DLL.

The server unreachable error, when in fact information is being captured and updated by the server, is a known bug that has been around for a couple of months.

I *think* it has been fixed in 1.5 because I have not seen it on that test system I have. However, I might have just missed it.
