We don't have a lot of servers, but we do have lots of JVMs (about 300) and we want to gather LOTS of JMX stats from each JVM. We have started ramping up and have had the Gateway fail with a 'too many open sockets' error.
Does anyone know what the limits of the Java Gateway are? Is there anyway to run more than one? Perhaps using a proxy?
