Hi all, first goes first, my name is Leonardo and im working in one large Datacenter.
Ok, i am about to put zabbix as monitoring pltform for it services, vmware clusters, xen clusters, cloudstack and switches, firewalls, and various storages.
Actually, i am monitoring almost 3k host (between vmware hypervisors and their vm's) and 130k items. I want to monitor xen, cloudstacks and blablabla also.
So i was thinking which is the best approach from the DB perspective. now i am using master -> multislave -> maxscale but i have problems with RTC in the vm's that are acting as DB servers.
I was reading about the "automagic" partitioning of PostgreSQL but also i like mysq/ percona / mariadb
My expectation is to monitor 9k hosts (between vms and hypervisors) and almost 1.5M items expectint near 9k nvps
Any suggestion? Will be really welcomed =)
