Just trying to see some general ideas on how to measure the bandwidth you will need for Zabbix when scoping the infra deployment in large environments?

From FW perspective putting heavy used rules to logging it's not a good idea from I/O point of view...even better put those rules to one the first match in FW. OK...if just is necessary count packets and traffic - maybe it works as expected. I would say for protocol/port bandwidth utilization measure use Netflow collectors/probes better
