    What if Zabbix Proxy chrashes?

    Hi,

I'm about to configure a Zabbix environment with one Zabbix server and several proxies and agents.

In that regard, I would like to know what happens to the data from the agents connected to a proxy if the proxy goes down.
    1. Will data be stored by the agent until the proxy is available again?
    2. Can data be sent directly to the server?
    3. Will data be lost?
    Br

All data collected by the proxy is stored locally before transmitting it over to the server. This way no data is lost due to any temporary communication problems with the server. The ProxyLocalBuffer and ProxyOfflineBuffer parameters in the proxy configuration file control for how long the data are kept locally.

      Thank you for your answer.

Maybe I don't read the quote correct. Do you suggest, that the quote means that the proxy will store data even if it is down?

I apologize for reading your questions inattentively. 1) if the proxy is disabled, data on the agent is not saved 2) in the agent settings, you can specify multiple server /serveractive addresses . and depending on the type of agent, data can be sent to a proxy or server. read the documentation-it describes this mode. https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...bix_agentd_win 3) data not received by the proxy/ not sent by the agent will be lost.
