      i hope that could be an interesting use case for someone else in future and becomes a feature request.

      i believe there is a lot of value in throttling input, as some "malicious agent" or misconfigured one, might be sending too much data through the pipes and throttling or even temporarily banning the agent could be a useful tool for preserving system stability.

      maybe that could be a useful feature for the newly coming Zabbix Cloud too.
