    Migration form Nagios to Zabbix

    Hello,

Currently in my company we have a monitoring system based on Nagios Core, Nagios QL, Check MK (visualization) and pnp4nagios (graphics). We are thinking about migrating to another system for several reasons and we are considering Zabbix.
Our biggest problem is that we are VERY dependent on configuration templates, i.e. being able to nest one template with another in both services and hosts.

My question is, is there a relatively simple way to do this migration? I know that the best way would be to make a migration from 0, but it is not possible. We have more than 3k hosts and more than 14k services to monitor.

While I'm at it, I would like to know if Zabbix supports NRPE agent checks, since we have a lot of services with this type of agent.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

You have a zabbix agent similar to NRPE and you need to create templates in zabbix based in your services defined.

It is a short answer because it is more complex topic and it is a starting point.

    Best regards
