Zabbix Server HA

Hi All,

Let say I have 4 Zabbix Server nodes in HA mode (1 active and 3 standby) and the active node fails.

Anyone knows what is the algorithm of choosing a new Active node? Is it just alphabetical/numerical order or other priorities?

In the documentation (https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...epts/server/ha) it says:

Both active and standby nodes update their last access time every 5 seconds. Each standby node monitors the last access time of the active node. If the last access time of the active node is over 'failover delay' seconds, the standby node switches itself to be the active node and assigns 'unavailable' status to the previously active node.

Thus, I'd say that whichever standby node that first determines that the active node is not there anymore, will be the new active one.
