    Processor Monitor Measurment

I am unclear as to what the processor monitor is actually measuring when it polls a device. Example:
    >
    > {xxxxx - xxxx:system.cpu.load[,avg1].last(0)}>5
    >
    > Some help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's polling the system load measurement. This only works on Unix like systems. For further discussion of system load search Google and the forum as a complete discussion of it would take a while. :-)

Short answer, it's the number of processes waiting (due to disk or other IO) or being executed on a CPU. Sometimes it's acceptable for it to be a high number, like 6 or 7, other times it's acceptable if it's always below 1 or 2.
