    Can't Access Web Interface

I just installed Zabbix on my FreeBSD 6.3 server and started the service. I can't access the web interface though. I don't understand where to find it. I found /usr/local/share/zabbix/php which is where I believe the frontend data is, but I'm not sure. The ports collection usually makes modification OR tells you what modifications to make to apache/php or whatever when installing new software. This one didn't tell me to do anything special, it also didn't tell me where to point my browser to. I read and found out I had to go to localhost/~zabbix. But that just gives me a 403 error "permission denied". Can someone help me get into the frontend of this install?

    In all probability it's localhost/zabbix
Maybe your system has made a virtual server? Try "apache2 -S" or similar to see its configuration.
Or you could link /usr/local/share/zabbix/php to a folder below your known document-root.

i also used freebsd 6.3..for ur information,to see the zabbix frontend(web) u must copy the php file from the folder zabbix (/usr/ports/net-mgmt/zabbix/work/zabbix-1.4.5/misc/conf/php) and copied into /usr/local/www/data/ but first u must remove all the file in the data directory..

after that u can browse to the server url..

please try and tell me what u have got..

      regards.
