need help - simple check tcp,23 for router

    Hi,

i have a problem to monitor the availibility of routers.
I want to use tcp,23 to check this. I build a Item tcp,23 an a trigger.

    Item:
    tcp,23
    Interval: 30sec

    Trigger:
    ...template_router:tcp,23.min(90)=2

2 means timeout - in the documentation of zabbix

The Problem is, that i get only the data 1 and 0 of the item tcp,23 ...

Has anybody a idea for me ??

I want to configure this like:

    thanks

P.s: sorry for the bad english

    hi,
it is not a problem, it is just the functionment of the simple check :
tcp,xx returns 0 if down & 1 if the server is listening on the port...

      tcp,23

      hi,

      thanks for the answer ....
but i want trigger the state of timout and in the documentation of zabbix timeout is 2 and not 0 or 1 ....

at time i have an other solution ...
i trigger the sum of values at time ... tcp,23.sum(180)}<3

      this trigger works fine ...

      greetings
