    Macro Help

    Does anybody know if you can reference the host group a host belongs to in an action via a macro? I have tried {HOSTGROUP} and {HOSTGROUP.NAME}

    Thanks,
    Matt

    It appears from that list that you can't.

    Does anybody know of a way to do it?
    For anybody who doesn't understand, all I want to do is be able to send the host group as well as the host name in an email.

    Like, if the upstairs computer in my mom's guest house goes down, the host group name is Mom's House.
    However, there is also an upstairs computer in my sister's guest house.
    So, when the action sends me the email, it only tells me the {HOSTNAME}, which in this case is both "Upstairs Computer"
    but I want to know if it could tell me "Mom's House: Upstairs Computer" etc.

    Thanks!

      What if the host belongs to several groups?
