How to disable actions/triggers on the weekend?

Is there any way possible to disable an action, or set up the trigger so it will not trigger on weekends?

Right now, I am sent a message if the device has been inactive for 36 hours.
However, every monday I get emails from every device I monitor because of them being turned off for the weekend.

Does anybody have any solutions for possible ways to avoid this (other than changing the time to more than 36 hours.)

    Thanks!

    Hi,
u can define different interval for ur items, that way the items won't get monitored during the week end.
Or u can use trigger dependencies to link ur triggers to a trigger that is set to TRUE during the week end.

Do you know what time the item uses? (i.e. Server time or local time?)

I believe trigger function dayofweek() is what you want.

            Hi All!

            I got a question concerning dayofweek-expression.
I have a backup only running one time a week, on friday let´s say.

So I created a trigger for nodata like this:
            {template:key[].dayofweek(0)}=5&{template:key[].nodata(691200)}=1

            691200sec = 8 days.
BUT: is that time-interval ok? Does the time in nodata refere to the item-time (the item is up 24/7, no intervals) or does it refere to the trigger-time?

When Item-time, my 691200sec must be ok, when trigger-time this would in my opinion be something like 25h (90000sec), because in the view of trigger we go from friday1->friday2.

            Thanks,
            kind regards,

            Markus.
