I have one template for all linux hosts and another one for hosts with snmpd running (independend from each other).
In the linux template is an application "services" containing all "server is running: xyz" items.
In the snmp template is an item "server is running: SNMP".
In short: Item in one template, Application in another.
Problem: I can't add the item into the application.
Is there a way to get the item into the application without putting it into the linux template? Sure i could move the item into the linux template, but i don't need it there.
Could i make the application "global"? Or copy it?
In Configuration -> Hosts -> Applications I can't do anything else then renaming it. Is it right that i can't edit more, for example linking it to another template?
