Is there a way to hide some active triggers from the overview?

I'd like to trim down the size of the overview on a screen and just show specific triggers. Does the overview have to show all the triggers? If so, is there a way to create a custom overview or similar result?

You can customize the view filtering hosts (I use a seperate user/usergroup for displaying different host triggers on several wall displays).
But you cant use a fine-grained filter like you can in trigger actions.

Thanks for the reply. I suspected as much.

My main issue is that I have one host with several web test items, and each of those has a trigger. I want that host in the overview, but I don't want all the web triggers since they just waste a lot of lines (1 for each trigger!) that no other hosts share and so are blank all the way across the grid except for the one host.

What I want is the ability to have only specific triggers belonging to a host appear on the overview, but it sounds like for any given host the overview must show either all of that hosts triggers or filter out the host completely and show none. That's unfortunate, since it means I have to decide between removing high-severity triggers from the overview, or significantly reduce the value of the overview by having dozens of low-severity triggers waste screen real estate.

Maybe there is another approach I can use? Is it practical to create a duplicate host entry that has only the web tests so that it can provide the same monitoring functions but be filtered from the overview? Are there any caveats to something like that?

What would be lovely in a future version is to add a boolean property to triggers whether or not to be displayed on the overview. In addition, it would be nice for the overview to filter not only by host but also by trigger severity, so I could have an overview that omits lower severity triggers and vastly reduce wasted screen real estate.
